Winter 2024 - You will not succeed in this class unless you record the lectures. There’s a midterm and final exam, both of which are entirely written aka no multiple choice. You could probably get away with not reading the articles but you definitely need to know what he covers in lecture in order to do well. I don’t think I would have done nearly as well if I wasn’t able to re-listen to lectures because he talks pretty quickly and it’s easy to miss things unless you ask him outright. However he does hint at concepts you should know but he doesn’t provide any sort of study guide. There’s also an 8 page final paper worth a good chunk of your grade.
