    Description: Lecture, four hours. Examination of current issues in interpersonal communication from perspectives of evolutionary psychology and biology. Topics include coevolution of signaler and receiver adaptations, nonverbal communication, courtship behavior, miscommunication between sexes, implied language use, and deception.
