Learning Assistant Pedagogy

Description: Seminar, one hour; outside study, two to 11 hours. Training seminar for advanced undergraduate students who are learning assistants (LAs) or peer learning facilitators (PLFs). Exploration of current topics in pedagogy and education research. Students work on communication skills with constant assessment of and feedback on progress. May be repeated for credit. Letter grading.
