Description: Lecture, one hour; laboratory, four hours. Requisite: course 153A. Introduction to principles and practice of organic and inorganic mass spectrometry. Topics include EI, CI, ICPMS, GC/MS, LC/MS, ESI, MALDI, MS/MS protein identification, and proteomics. Concurrently scheduled with course C108. S/U or letter grading.
