Description: (Same as Biomathematics M280 and Statistics M230.) Lecture, three hours. Requisites: Mathematics 115A, Statistics 100C. Introduction to theory and design of statistical programs: computing methods for linear and nonlinear regression, dealing with constraints, robust estimation, and general maximum likelihood methods. Letter grading.
