Description: Lecture, three hours. Course 204A is enforced requisite to 204B. Critical reading and discussion of major pedagogical issues in teaching Asian languages (chiefly Chinese, Japanese, Korean) as second languages, with focus on second language acquisition theories and best practices as related to Asian language teaching. In Progress grading (credit to be given only on completion of course 204B).
