Atrium Court is the 3rd place I've lived in Westwood and the best experience I've had in 4 years at UCLA. I had several friends live here for 2 years and they always raved about it. So when I checked it out with my parents they gave it a thumbs up because of the nice manager on site and the secure building even though I didn't have a roommate yet. The manager helped me find a roommate that was a great fit and gave us a great deal. I'll admit sometimes it can get noisy in the neighborhood (but it is westwood after all, where is it not noisy?) but the cleanliness of the building, the amenities(fitness center, rooftop sundeck, hot tub,) and the location make this place hard to beat.

This is one of the best places to live in North Village, period. See for yourself and shop around. The manager and company work very hard to ensure students have a great experience. They accept your packages, take care of your maintenance needs quickly, and keep the building very clean and running well. There are some issues that arise but are always fixed quickly. The roof top BBQ area is the best around! The gym is nice, and the laundry is always clean. They were previous problems with the laundry card system but it has been repaired. Most apts are spacious with views and balconies. You have to pay more than the smaller buildings but it's worth it.

Atrium Court has been a great place to live. The walk to campus is easy and quick. It is well kept, especially on the awesome rooftop (it has 2 BBQs and a hot tub! Not to mention a beautiful view.) The laundry machines are paid for by cards, which can be a little annoying, but they do the job. The rooms are very large with a well-equipped kitchen. It is usually very quiet, and parties are well tolerated until a reasonable hour. Parking is a little expensive, but worth it if you need your car here. The Landlord is a really cool guy and always quick to help. We've had a few problems, but they were all fixed quickly. I would recommend this apartment, if you can afford it.

It is my belief that the prior positive reviews of this building were written by someone with a vested interest in it, because in my year experience living here I have never run into another tenant who had anything good to say about Atrium Court. (Also the two previous reviews were written on the same day and in the same wording? I rest my case.) In my opinion, it's a terrible place to live. I can't count the amount of time I have wasted because of the broken laundry machines. It's an architectural nightmare. The "atrium" is actually a noise funnel so that every quiet conversation is amplified to sound like it's in your living room. The ceilings are so thin that I can actually HEAR the tenants above us peeing in their bathroom. I won't address the issues I've had with the manager (but there have been plenty). Stay away from Atrium Court.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience living in Atrium Court Luxury apartments. I lived in the dorms, the sorority house and many other apartments in Westwood Village and this was by far the BEST living arrangement I could have!

-7 minute walk to campus (I timed it!)
-Incredible roof top with gas BBQ's and HOT TUB!! (Amazing to invite friends to come hang out day and night)
-On-site Manager who is awesome- relates to the students and makes sure we live in a secure and nice building
-Nice, friendly college students
-Maintenance available 24-hours if anything should break it gets fixed that day!
-Brand new carpet!!
-Work out room - so convenient!
-Clean laundry room with plenty (10) machines.- uses SMART CARDS rather than coins!
-Dry-cleaning delivery service if requested
-Occupancy can accomidate 1-5 people- very flexible.
-On-site office open daily Monday - Sunday 9-6 - fax, internet available to residents
-Resident Appreciation BBQ's on the rooftop with free food or bbq/ drinks! Sometimes even raffles with prizes!
-$300 given to anyone who refers someone to live there
-Beautiful building, maintained, new, clean and constantly being upgraded.
-Soon to be a business center/study area.
-Utilities are reasonably priced.
-Located 2 blocks from Westwood Village!
-Air conditioning!!!(Wouldn't want to go one summer without it!)
-Private balconies- pretty views.
-Roommate Referral Service
-Stove, Microwave, Fridge, and Dishwasher included.
-secured underground parking garages
-Plenty of parking

DEFINITELY A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE!!

Pros:
- very clean compared to some of the other apartments out there
- small gym that isn't usually crowded
- quick to fix any light problems, plumbing problems, etc
- dish-washing machine
- roommates can easily purchase parking spots during fall quarter for the year
- locked and closed garage
- locked area to park your bike
- bbq area and jacuzzi
- great air conditioner and heater
- great distance from campus

Cons:
- elevators constantly break down
- constant 6th floor morning wake up reminders (thanks to the roof sweepers, this place probably has the cleanest roofs in Westwood)
- manager doesn't care about your mail and claims it's "not his problem" if the apartment's mail system is ineffective and unreliable
- sometimes packages are delivered to the manager's office, sometimes they're taken to your door, thus making it difficult to track, and if they're in the office when it's closed good luck trying to get it out
- when delivered to your door, packages can and will get stolen if you don't pick them up immediately
- manager is rarely there when he is supposed to be
- if you lose your garage door opener, you're screwed, and good luck trying to get out because the manager probably won't be there to help you

single parking spot costs $125
tandem parking spots cost $100
the higher you go, the more expensive the rooms
