You pay this much for two reasons: two of the bedrooms are large, and you are right near campus AND Westwood. Everything else is kinda crap. The third bedroom is a converted dining room, so doors are not even close to soundproof from the living room. Windows are single pane plastic, so you can hear parties in the adjacent buildings nonstop. The kitchen hasn't been renovated since... ever, and the second bathroom is so small you will feel like a giant. The patio is nice to have for parties and seeing large amounts of friends (especially during COVID), but it is kinda gross and there is no nice patio furniture.
Landlords, Linda and Jeff, are quick to reply but generally the scapegoat for everything we don't like about this apartment.
