Professor Lee was such a great professor for 3A, I practically fell in love with her adorable style, humor and kindness! I loved her even more after getting my A+...
More importantly she's a great teacher, she seriously cares that her lectures are very clear and comprehensible, she makes math easy and painless. Plus, let's face it, 3A is easy and SHOULD be a breeze.
Don't ever fall back in math, that goes for every single math class you'll ever take. Stay on top of it and you should never get below an A-.
Miss Lee was great! I think what made her most successful as an instructor was her very well prepared notes!
Unlike most professors, she's very thorough--you'll be hearing her apologize for doing so quite often--, so students understand what she's doing, why she's doing it, and how it all ties together.
Her tests are reasonable, and if you make suggestions (e.g. too unfamiliar, too much unlike the homework problems/given examples--I personally thought those were unnecessary) she does take them into consideration, so long as they are appropriate.
Class was never boring either. She always makes these little remarks and then acts like nobody can hear her.
I thought she was going to be an old man at first, so the when I walked into class and saw a young(ish) woman writing on the board, I though she was subbing for her dad (presumed-Lee) or something.
ANYWAYS, BOTTOM LINE: IF YOU CAN TAKE LEE FOR MATH, DO IT. Because she's approachable, considerate, and makes herself available to her students when she can. The only reason I didn't give her enough credit for availability was because during my quarter, she had to leave town quite often for work-related issues, leaving us with two subs that weren't as effective.
