Please, you guys need to stop crying like babies. Professors aren't there to hold your hand and make sure you feel relaxed in class. This isn't junior high. And just for the record, he smiles plenty, and often gets us laughing.

Coleman is a perfectly good professor. He asks a lot of engaging questions and does a great job of steering us in the right direction. He may not pat you on the back for every thought you decide to share with the class, but we don't have time for that. He focuses on the material in lectures. He's also very friendly and will bend over backwards to accomodate your schedule for a meeting time.

His papers and tests are fair--no surprises, and the reading list is fairly light.

I would recommend him to just about anyone. I think he did a great job.
