Professor Williams should be avoided at all costs, especially during remote learning. All of his classes during remote learning are asynchronous including MGMT 121, 122, 124, and probably others. During Fall 2020, the MGMT 121 course was broken down into three modules: module 1 covering Weeks 1-4, module 2 covering Weeks 5-7, and module 3 covering Weeks 8-10. Each module has one assignment worth 33% of the grade. The promise on the syllabus is that the lecture videos and class material would be uploaded at the beginning of each module. NOPE! Professor Williams uploaded the module 2 materials during week 9, and the module 3 materials on Friday and Sunday of Week 10 with no prior communication about the delay. His attitude towards students is "deal with it!" and he shows nothing but disrespect towards students' time and negligence towards his own duty as a professor. He doesn't respond to emails, he doesn't upload things on time, he doesn't communicate with students, he frequently makes irrelevant and insensitive political commentary, etc. All of these nightmare traits carry over to his in-person classes as well, so once UCLA is back in-person after the pandemic you should avoid Williams at all costs!

Very simple class. Show up to the lecture once a week, write as much as you can down, and take the open note quiz at the end. He rambles a lot so try and copy just what's on the slides as fast as you can and that's all. There's no outside work which is great. Very low commitment class and easy A. Take this class if you can.

Very enjoyable class. As other reviews mentioned, the only grade component are weekly quizzes on that day's lecture material. So just pay attention a little bit and you'll get an A. The professor made the class material much more interesting and engaging by sharing his own experiences and anecdotes, which taught a lot of tips and life lessons that are applicable outside of just accounting. I would definitely recommend.

The average of this class speaks for itself and while the exams are not incredibly complicated the professor grades unnecessarily hard. If you do not write your answer verbatim as he mentions in class expect deductions and markdowns on everything you write. Be careful and be wary of how you take this course. Do not underestimate this class and the quizzes. All accounting minors should also be okay since there is a certain familiarity you need to exude to get 100%. Good Luck.

Very easy class, Williams is funny and helpful. Only thing you are graded on is a weekly open note quiz based on his lecture notes and cases found in the textbook. Selling the textbook, contact **********.
