This class isnt as easy as its made out to be, but its still pretty easy. The homework is graded really hard so you have to do a good job, but some of it is completely unrelated to the textbook and you have to do some research on your own. He's a pretty boring lecturer (I went to 4 lectures the whole quarter after falling asleep in the first two) but just listened to the lecture podcasts leading up to finals week and took some notes on those. Some of the ones late in the quarter you can skip since a lot of the end of the course is theoretical and doesnt show up on the tests, which are still pretty easy if you put in a bit of studying. In terms of science GEs, this is a good one.

I think it is important to warn those who are planning to take Astro 7. I didn't have a problem with Professor Morris himself, he's actually an nice guy who showed us cool pictures on his power point presentations but the work load was ridiculous for a G.E. (Weekly reflections, three 3page paper, one 6 page paper and presentation, two quizzes and a final). If you see that K.C Cole is teaching along with Pro. Morris I suggest you brace yourself for a quarter of listening to a person talk about how great a writer she is and buying a reader that had mostly her work! This class was very annoying!
