This guy. HE IS JUST AWESOME!!! He cares very much about his students. If you also care, you WILL get an A. Not too hard of a class, and he gives you lots of feedback so you can improve.

I had him last quarter, and he is SUPER NICE!!! However, his class can be quite tedious. We never read any books, just short readings. Some of them were interesting, but some of them I could care less about. The essays aren't difficult and he goes over your essays when you have conferences with him. Like I said, he's super nice so feel free to ask questions!! He'll be more than happy to answer them :) Oh and his hair's cool :)aha

Professor Gadda was quirky and sort of strange, but he is SUCH a nice, sweet man. I really did not try too hard in this class, and the readings were fairly interesting. The work load is not bad at all, and he's super helpful when it came to revising essays. There's a lot of group work so I got pretty close to my class. Majority of class time is him asking questions about the readings, or the class expressing their opinion on them. Its so chill. If you're going to take Eng Comp 2, take Gadda, for sure.

Professor Gadda is a really approachable. His class is generally like a high school setting. He gives a lot of time for "group discussions," which people generally jsut talk and get to know eachother. His lectures, as noted below, were very draining and most people zoned out. The class overall is easy, but is NOT an easy A. it's easy to pass, get a B, but for the A, you're going to have to really work on your essays. He has office hours and goes over your essays.. although some of his responses are kind of vague.

He's such a nice, old man. His course focuses on your development as a literate individual. Depending on your interest in that topic, you may or may not enjoy the class. However, Gadda is a completely agreeable professor. His advice is clear and helpful, and his grading, generous.
