Quarter: Fall 2018
Grade: A

Professor Raia is absolutely amazing. Although there is quite a bit of writing (easy though) each week it is easy to get through. She is funny and the class ends up all being friends (but not in a cheesy way). Material is super interesting and although class is 2 hours it feels like its only a 50 min session. Highly recommend, easy marker and allays making us laugh.

Dr. Raia is a sweetheart. She loves her students and is a genuine, kindhearted person who is VERY passionate about the subject. Grade is based off of Cogen which is listening to a Dr./Patient convo and writing a 2-5 pg single spaced paper (pg limit depends whether class is online or in person) w/ a time limit of 24 hrs (do this 4 or 5 times- I can't remember lol), 5 reading reflections, 2 roadmap group projects, and a final project and final reflection paper. The directions for assignments can be unclear, which leaves students guessing what to write about or how to write the assignments. Lectures are about 2 hours long twice a week and can run over time. The lectures are student run and consist of students presenting their roadmap projects and some other discussions. I liked the professors, I liked the topic studied, but thought the lectures were a bit long and was struggling with the unclear directions for assignments.
