Bristow is straightforward and genuinely cares about students. The difference between him and most professors at UCLA is that he's a businessman and not a researcher. He knows how to get a long with people and how to speak. He's a great communicator and he'll keep you interested.

He wants to prepare people for the workforce, not have them memorize things they'll never use.

One of my favorite teachers I've had at UCLA. He doesn't beat around the bush or have a huge ego. Bristow genuinely seems to care about his students. He doesn't force you to pay attention, but everyone listens closely to him anyway.
