Point-to-point multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) wireless channels: capacity and outage; single-hop networks: multiple access, broadcast, interference, and relay channels; channels and sources with side-information; basics of multiterminal lossy data compression; basics of network information flow over general noisy networks.
