Winter 2023 - It is not difficult to succeed in the class if you do your work on time, but this class will be a lot of work. The triaxial and consolidation labs take an especially long time, the other labs are pretty reasonable. Professor himself is alright but he sometimes comes off as condescending when answering or asking questions. He will call on people in class and it’s usually not clear what answer he’s looking for. The labs are kinda fun, they’re very hands-on, but plan on spending 2-3 hours in lab for every single session.
