About

Bruin Walk is a broad walkway that rolls through the UCLA campus, running downhill from the dorms, past the free-speech podium in Meyerhoff Park and the student center of Kerkchoff Hall into Royce Quad, where the original four campus buildings still form the heart of UCLA. Known well to everyone on campus, Bruin Walk is usually packed, most often noisy and almost always the most interesting place to be at UCLA. Since 1998, bruinwalk.com has strived to be the online version of the original.

bruinwalk.com is a campus portal dedicated to bringing tools to the UCLA community that students want and need to support their academic, social, and professional lives. bruinwalk.com supports webmail, social/academic networking, a campus calendar, professor reviews, peer-to-peer book trading, online file storage, and a marketplace of goods and services.

bruinwalk.com is also the hub of a growing network of sites that share a common publishing platform. This platform features a full-featured content management system and bruinwalk.com features, which can be locally branded to reflect and serve any organization. If your organization is interested in joining the bruinwalk network, please contact us.

bruinwalk.com belongs to the Student Media UCLA family of media titles, which include the Daily Bruin, Bruin Life yearbook, UCLARadio.com, UCLAtv and the campus magazines. The UCLA Communications Board is the student-majority board of directors that oversees Student Media UCLA and the student-run media titles. The Communications Board is entirely self-supporting. It receives no registration fees or other forms of public support. All of its revenues come from advertising sales in the media.
