The Bayit was one of the best living experiences at UCLA I have ever had. It was on frat row, which got noisy at times, but it was totally worth it. The people who live in this co-op become your family. We have events and parties together at the house almost every month and people from all over the community come by to hang out.
There are weekly chores and monthly meetings, but these help make the house run more smoothly (and look more clean.) There are singles, doubles, and triples. I definitely suggest getting a roommate here. Several people from the time I lived here became best friends with their roommates even though they hadn't known the roommate before.
Rent is unbelievably cheap and you also get free laundry and inexpensive parking.
